We started growing strawberries for our foodbox program in 2013. A few years later we started gradually opening for u-pick and by 2018, we started selling small scale wholesale. Of all the crops we grow, we feel that strawberries are the most important to produce organically. Last year we had a spike in demand for our berries and were selling out most days. We have almost half an acre planted for 2022, twice what we had planted for 2020, and we will not be taking on any new strawberry wholesale accounts this season, so we should have a lot more berries available for u-pick this year.
